Six Ways to Use DVD\'s to Market Your Business

DVD’s aren’t just for movies.  They can also be a powerful promotional tool for your business.  If you’re not using DVD’s to market your business, you’re missing out on an effective sales tactic—one that gets attention and makes your business stand out.  Here are six ways you can promote your business via DVD.

Send them in the mail.  Instead of sending your prospects a sales letter to read, why not send them a promotional DVD they can watch? Prospects are less likely to throw away a disc than a piece of paper; it’s perceived as more valuable and less disposable.  For best results, send your DVD to a highly targeted list of people who are very likely to be interested in your product; these people are more likely to take the time to watch.  

Use them as business cards.  A conventional business card can only tell your prospects so much.  Tell them more about you with a business-card-sized disc they can play in their computer’s DVD player.  These discs have room for a short video commercial about your company, and are small and compact enough to be given out as business cards.  With a card like this, you’ll definitely stand out.

Use them to reward loyal customers.  Make an informational DVD that contains valuable content—perhaps one you’d ordinarily sell online—and offer it free to customers who buy from you repeatedly, valued clients, and customers who bring you referrals.  Give them as gifts to your most valued customers at holidays.
