What is the minimum order quantity for CD and DVD production?
We have no minimum order quantity; we can produce as many CDs or DVDs as you require. However, for smaller orders it makes financial sense to duplicate rather than replicate. Duplication involves burning and printing on a much smaller scale than that involved in replication which utilises industrial level manufacturing systems and the creation of a glass master.

We have our content, but how do we create the artwork that goes on the surface of the CD or DVD and its packaging?
Artwork for surface printing and packaging can be produced on your behalf by Magellan Duplication or you can produce the artwork yourself. We charge £75 per hour for design services and so costs will naturally vary depending on packaging and printing requirements.

How do I send the data to you?
You will need to provide Magellan Duplication with a master CD or DVD containing the data that you would like to be reproduced. Alternatively you can upload your data via our customer account section online. You just need to register your details and you will be given your own area to upload files to, we will also upload your proofs here so it is worth setting up to make life easier for you.

Please ensure that you test your master before sending through to us and ensure your content has been thoroughly checked to avoid errors. We will supply you with a proof before producing your order; it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that everything is correct at that time.

I would like to record my own CD or DVD, but I would like high quality printing directly onto the CD or DVD face. Do you offer this type of service?

Yes, Magellan Duplication offer printing directly onto blank CDs or DVDs, please call us on 01256 681100 to speak with one of our account managers who can assist you.

How do I submit the artwork for the CD printing or DVD printing?
If you have your own artwork already set up correctly you can email through the files or you can upload using the customer account section online. Please ensure you adhere to our artwork specification guidelines located in our design services section.

If you do not have artwork setup you can use one of our design templates or you can use our design service.

Do you offer express delivery service?
Dependant on work levels we do offer an express delivery service. This is also dependant on the quantity required and the complexity of the job in terms of packaging and print. Please talk directly to our experts who will be able to advise you on the best turnaround time for your project.

How much do you charge for delivery?
Delivery costs will be based on weight and will be charged separately.
